An Erie woman will spend the next three to eight years behind bard for the fatal DUI crash that killed her passenger.
Last month, 30 year old Kristin Graves plead guilty to charges of homicide by vehicle while DUI.
Police say she was driving a Jeep that flipped over on the Bayfront Parkway last summer, killing her 29 year old passenger Kyle Rohan.
Prosecutors say her blood alcohol level was nearly two-and-a-half times the legal limit.
Judge Shad Connelly told Graves that she was reckless, not only for driving while intoxicated by also for allowing Rohan to ride in the roofless Jeep without a seat belt.
Rohan was thrown by the crash and run over. Some have speculated that he may not have died had he been belted in.
