Botox is the number one cosmetic procedure in the world, according to a longtime local doctor who has taken on a new role at a place like "none other" in Erie.

Walking through the doors to Simply Coco, you are greeted with grandiose chandeliers and a stunning entrance.

Inspired by the legendary French fashion designer Coco Chanel, there are six rooms inside where a host of services are offered at this med spa.

"Everything from laser hair removal, to IPL to get rid of brown spots and red spots," said Dr. Mitch Humphrey. 

Dr. Mitch Humphrey is the Medical Director. The longtime Erie physician, who spent years working in dermatology, was here from day one when the med spa opened in the fall of 2023.

It is the brainchild of Edna Siegel, the owner and operator of sister company Panache in Erie County.

Simply Coco has an intimate, trained staff and state-of-the-art equipment.

"We do a good faith exam to make sure you're appropriate for the procedure," said Dr. Humphrey. "We do a physical examination to make sure you're physically capable of doing the procedure."

Procedures also include Tri-Lift.

"A service which stimulates your muscles so that they can contract and lift so you can get an outcome without having surgery," said Dr. Humphrey. 

Clients who have treatments in any of the six rooms can get ready for their treatment, and even wind down here before leaving. 

Simply Coco also plans to bring in experts to talk about the services that are done at the med spa. 

Carly Lipinski is the Marketing Director and Social Media Manager at Simply Coco is also a patient.

"We're very conscious about making sure everything looks natural," said Lipinski. 

She's also had her eyebrows micro-bladed and shaded.

"It depends on what you're trying to actually achieve with that," said Lipinski. "For me, it was just filling in. It lessens my morning routine where I don't have to fill in my eyebrows every day. And it's a game changer."

This week, some industry experts are coming to Simply Coco for a special event.
