A return trip to the Pennsylvania State Capitol was made by the same, Erie County neighbors who have taken their plight to Harrisburg, before.

They live in the Summit Heights Mobile Home Park. and since new, out of town owners took over,
lot fees have gone up to the point of making living there, a financial hardship.

They want to hear how lawmakers can help them push two measures, one in the House, and the other in the Senate, towards a hearing and eventual vote.

Resident Wendy Henry learned a cap on their lot fees going up, might have to be re-worked for the whole. She says, "We're doing it not just for ourselves but for other people who live in the mobile home park. There's 300 units, we're trying to help them also."

Representative Mike Sturla says, "If the leases were signed under duress than it's not legal and I believe they have standing in court."

Sturla, who is also the Chair of the Housing and  Community Development, says, "Part of this is just making sure there's some consumer protection things in place."

We will continue to follow how strong the financial fight is, with someone from the Coalition of Manufactured Home Communities of Pennsylvania.
