WEST PALM BEACH, FL- Supporters of Donald Trump are celebrating nearby his Florida home. Our correspondent met with people who are elated about the elections.

A handful of Trump supporters are on the streets celebrating his victory. We are on a road nearby Mar-a-Lago. Cars are driving by honking their horns and cheering. People around are waving pro-Trump flags.

“This is ten-by-16,” said T. Tran, a Trump supporter. Battling strong winds in West Palm Beach, Tran, who is from California, shows off his flag following Donald Trump’s election success.

“We know this is where the action is at so we took a trip,” said Mark Gnatowski, a Trump supporter.

Many here were disappointed from the 2020 presidential loss but hope when Trump is back in office, he can work on issues important to them.

“The cost-of-living affects everybody around this country doesn't matter if you’re rich or poor,” said Tran. “People try to make a living and pay tax and a lot of regulations in California force people to close down their small businesses.”

“I would like to see right away immigration addressed immediately,” said Gnatowski.

When Trump declared victory at his election watch party, he called on the country to unite. Many Americans feel we are more divided than ever. People here believe those divisions could be bridged with a lot of effort.

“If people really want to heal its effort from both sides and it has to be a genuine concerted effort,” said Gnatowski.
