Cabela's Plans to Locate in Millcreek

Cabela's, a popular hunting, fishing, and camping retail chain, plans to locate in Millcreek. 

The Millcreek Planning Commission is scheduled to review the company's land development plan on Monday, April 9.  Cabela's plans to construct a 42,392  square foot retail store in the Millcreek Marketplace on Interchange Road, near Buffalo Wild Wings.

Cabela's stores are well-known as tourist attractions, as some stores have museums, restaurants, and aquariums inside.

The nearest stores to Erie are currently in Wheeling, West Virginia, Charleston, West Virginia, and Columbus, Ohio. 

The Millcreek store would be much smaller than the largest Cabela's store.  That store, in Hamburg, Pennsylvania, has 250,00 square feet of retail space.
