The former Millcreek Township supervisor made the announcement Saturday morning at the Belle Valley Fire Hall. Kujawa spent 18 years as supervisor, until he was beat in the 2013 election. Kujawa says the lack of leadership and public service in the township, are some of the many reasons why he decided to run again.

"When you're an elected official, it's about serving people, working together to accomplish goals,"he said. "And that's why I'm running again, because I just don't see that happening anymore."

If elected, Kujawa says his first goal would be to balance the township's budget.
