Essential Job Skills
- College degree preferred but not required with 3 years of sales experience (radio, TV, digital and/or advertising experience a plus)
- Reaching annual and monthly revenue goals
- Excelling in new business development and in generating new dollars for the company
- Helping assure rate integrity and obtaining credit approval for all new accounts
- Distinguishing him/herself by providing excellent service, research, training, and overall competency
- Consistently developing effective relations with buyers and key decision-makers in order to meet client and company expectations
- Ability to create advertising packages that benefit the client’s specific business
- Participating in sales and strategy meetings with other team members
- Studying and keeping informed concerning competitive and industry practices, rates, ratings, etc. in order to give clients accurate information and assistance
- Ability to present a Digital Marketing plan that addresses client objectives and reaches the target audience.
- Being responsible to secure all necessary credit information about the advertiser as well as responsible for past due account collections
- Keeping honest and accurate records
- Other duties as required
