Erie Bills Fan Jim Berlin Says Buffalo May Go All the Way
Jim Berlin's love of the Buffalo Bills goes back to 1969 when he attended the University of Buffalo.
Like most fans he's seen winning times and those very difficult losses at four consecutive Super Bowls.
Berlin talked to me via Zoom, sporting brand new Buffalo Bills tee shirt, a gift from his brother.
He was at the game recently when the bills beat the Colts when Bills quarterback great Jim Kelly stopped by. Berlin reminded Kelly of the time that he sat in his office chair at Logistics Plus. Kelly was in Erie to speak at a sports banquet where Berlin supported a scholarship fund.
Berlin sees his faithful support of the team paying off this year, and he thinks Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs have the formula to win.
"Stefon Diggs what an addition," Berlin said. "Who would think that a wide receiver could make the difference that he made. He made this team better and tougher, a great addition, giving Josh someone to throw to, they've bonded pretty well. I think Josh actually has more potential than Kelly. Kelly was a first time unanimous Hall of Famer, it's hard to top that but he's never won a Super Bowl and I think Josh can take us there," he added.
Jim Berlin has tickets for Sunday's game in Kansas City against the Chiefs. He'll sit on the 25 yard line with friends from Buffalo. If they win, he plans to travel to Tampa in hopes of getting tickets for the big game.
