Woman who Helped Pull Victims from Fatal School Bus Crash on I-79 in Butler County Talks to Erie News Now
A woman who helped pull the victims from a school bus following a crash on Intestate 79 in Butler County shared her account of what happened in an interview with Erie News Now Tuesday.
WPXI-TV is reporting, a 31 year-old man, who was driving the bus and a 14 year-old girl were killed in the crash, according Butler County Deputy Coroner.
Leslie and Eric Bohrer, of Erie, were behind the accident and helped the students at the scene. Watch their full interview below.
The crash happened near the 96.6 mile marker in Muddy Creek Township Tuesday afternoon.
A tractor trailer commercial vehicle and school bus, both traveling in the northbound lanes, collided.
There is no word yet on exactly what caused the crash.
State Police will provide updates as the investigation continues.
