Erie News Now is helping you save time and money throughout the holiday rush this season. Thanksgiving is a little over two weeks away and right now you may be figuring out who's bringing what dish to the big Thanksgiving dinner.
Co-owner of Honey Baked Ham Jeffery Balogh tells Erie News Now his customers are preparing early this year for holiday meals.
"Hams and turkeys there has bee more reservations then we've ever had at this time of year," says Balogh. "People are afraid not having the food in the grocery stores, everyone is seeing the shortages."
He informs Erie News Now it's a one stop shop for a Thanksgiving fest, "they see the sign and they think they walk in buy a ham and walk out," says Balogh. "We have sides, we have deserts, we have pot roast and several other things."
Balogh says if you don't have the days to thaw out a turkey, not too worry, "It's set on the table, room temperature it's done, you don't have to cook it so literally you can get your holiday meal done in a matter of an hour will all the sides, everything from here."
While Honey Baked Ham received a huge holiday shipment yesterday morning, Balogh explains the importance of making sure to reserve your Thanksgiving fixings now, rather than later.
"We should be okay but again with today's environment, I'm not sure how busy we're going to be," says Balogh. "I'm assuming we will be quite a bit busier than last year, I did order to compensate for that but, it's really hard to call and that's why I keep saying for people to reserve it early."
