Erie County Government brought together Pennsylvania State Senators, State Representatives and the Mayors of Erie and Corry to get a sense of regional priorities. 

All levels of government weighed in on the question of top RACP projects and though not unanimous, the following projects had the greatest overall support: 

  • Project Resolve - Erie: $8,000,000 - This project will construct the 8th building at the Knowledge Park Research Facility. 
  • Presque Isle Gateway District Improvements II: $7,400,000 - This project will improve the streetscape of West 8th Street, one of the major East West business corridors in the area. 
  • EMI Property Development II: $6,000,000 - Use of RACP funds and matching sources for renovations and construction (structural repairs, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc.) at the former EMI property as part of a large-scale economic development project.
