No matter what any given day presents, I always try to begin on a positive note. As a co-anchor for Erie News Now Sunrise, I am privileged to help you do the same.
After earning a degree in Communications from Bethany College, I began my career as a newspaper reporter in nearby Ashtabula, Ohio. Then, in 2005, I landed on the media scene in Erie, managing educational outreach at WQLN PBS NPR. I went on to earn a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Mercyhurst University while working at WQLN and eventually pursued my passion of becoming a morning news anchor. Erie has been my home for nearly two decades now, and every day I strive to be a community champion. I will always boldly share my love of his beautiful town filled with hidden gems and endless opportunities.
Outside of work, I am the vice president of Hooked on Books for Kids and a dedicated volunteer for several nonprofits. Ultimately though, my greatest joy comes from spending time with my husband of 16 years and our four incredible children - coaching their baseball teams, exploring the outdoors, singing and dancing, and traveling everywhere possible.
