A man was injured in an accidental shooting in Crawford County on Friday night, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
It happened about 11 p.m. at the State Gamelands 269 parking area off Lake Rd. in Cussewago Township.
A man removed his Glock pistol from the holster and the loaded magazine from the gun but failed to clear the chamber, troopers said.
He was then handling the gun and looking at it when, at some point, he touched the trigger and unintentionally fired the round still left in the chamber, according to state police.
The round hit him in the left pinky finger, which he wrapped in a shirt before driving himself to Meadville Medical Center for treatment, according to troopers.
