The dry and windy conditions have had much of Pennsylvania under a fire weather watch.

Those wild fire risks were on full display down in Elk County Pennsylvania on Wednesday.

An estimated 15 fire departments got called out to take on a big wildfire in Elk County, they say it burned over 1,000 acres.

The fire was so big, they had to call in help from neighboring Clarion and Forest counties.

Planes from the Department of Forestry were trying to help put out the brush fire. The fire was burning private land and the land in the Allegheny National Forest.

No injuries have been reported.
