Additional work to remove the Edinboro Rd. bridge over Interstate 90 in Summit Township, Erie County, will require rolling closures and lane restrictions this week, according to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).

Drivers will see periodic rolling stops on I-90 eastbound and the Interstate 79 ramps to I-90 eastbound between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. There is also a lane closure near the bridge.

The work will cause delays.

A detour for Edinboro Rd. traffic is posted using Hershey Rd. and Grubb Rd.

PennDOT asks drivers to slow down in work zones and to be alert to changing conditions, avoid distractions and to pay attention to signs and flaggers.
