Thousands of children competed in the Memorial Day Classic Soccer Tournament this weekend.
This is the longest running soccer tournament in Erie for kids ages nine through nineteen. Teams traveled from other parts of Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York and Canada to compete and play.
Over 200 teams are expected to compete this weekend over the course of three days.
This tournament allows players to enjoy some friendly competition at the start of the summer season.
Games are happening at Erie Premiere Sports on West Ridge Road. The championships are set for Monday.
