Flag Football Super Bowl at Erie Sports Center

It may not be football season yet, but after a full season of flag football at the Erie Sports Center, Saturday was their flag football Super Bowl.

Starting in April, teams made up for girls and boys, ages, eight, eleven and fourteen practiced and competed every week for eight weeks in flag football.

Children got to learn the rules and skills of flag football, while also learning lessons of teamwork, winning and losing and it all wrapped up for their season with games on Saturday.

After these games, select players will soon be invited to be part of the all-star team competing in a regional tournament in Pittsburgh in a few weeks.

Winners who move on from there will play in the NFL Flag Football Championship Pro-Bowl game.
