The Erie woman charged with killing and burning the body of a Summit Township admitted guilt today, during her preliminary hearing.

Marisa Rodriguez, 35, is facing charges of homicide and abuse of a corpse in connection to the death of 66-year-old Michael Maisner.

On Thursday, Rodriguez interrupted the courtroom several times during testimony. At one point, she told the courtroom "I'm guilty."

Maisner was last seen on March 27, after family members reported him missing.

Family members found Rodriguez hiding in the attic of Maisner's Crestview Drive home in Summit Township.

Investigators say Rodriguez had been living with Maisner for several months, before she was arrested in Chautauqua County, New York, in a separate incident while driving Maisner's car.

Investigator discovered some of Maisner's bones in a burn pit outside of his home.

Prosecutors presented several pieces of evidence today, including pictures of Maisner's body which were taken on Rodriguez's phone.

Investigators say Rodriguez also used Maisner's credit card to purchase cleaning products, gasoline, and an electric chainsaw.

Judge Brian McGowan bound all charges over for trial.
