As the temperatures get cooler in Warren County, fishing is heating up for anglers.

Erie News Now sat down with Nathan Welker, the Allegheny National Forest Fishery Manager, to discuss fishing in Warren County.

“We have the state record Northern Pike that is coming out of the reservoir and we also have near state record Muskie and Walleye," said Welker. "As a matter of fact, we just until recently held the Walleye state record. So, if someone wants to set a state record, the Allegheny River and the Allegheny Reservoir are the places to be.”

Fishing season runs throughout the year in Pennsylvania.

Currently, its the extended season for stocked trout. For more information regarding fishing in Warren County, visit here
