Disabled Opossum from Pennsylvania to be Featured in 2024 Walkin' Pets Calendar
A disabled opossum in a wheelchair from Pennsylvania has won a spot in the 2024 Walkin' Pets Calendar.
Olli, the paralyzed opossum, was attacked by several predators as a baby. This caused severe damage to his spinal cord, not allowing him to put weight on his hind legs.
After being rescued, Olli was able to experience mobility without dragging his hindquarters and could even run with his wheelchair.
This year's calendar will feature entries from 26 different countries and features pets from around the world using their Walkin' Wheels wheelchair.
This is the 9th annual calendar contest. The annual contest helps raise pet mobility awareness and celebrates the incredible strength and spirit of handicapable animals.
All proceeds from this year's calendar will be donated to the Handicapped Pets Foundation. The 2024 Walkin' Pets Calendar can be purchased online.
