People could get a jump start on their holiday shopping or get some ideas for gifts with the Holiday Craft and Gift Festival that kicked off on Saturday and continues Sunday.

The Bayfront Convention Center is home to 165 vendors this weekend, from local businesses to shops from around the region, events like these mean a lot to local vendors.

Shoppers can get gift ideas by browsing through clothing , jewelry, home decorations and gifts for kids.

About 70% of the items are hand made. In addition to the vendors, there's also concession stands for foods and special guests like Santa Claus.

The Holiday Craft and Gift Festival continues Sunday from 11:00-4:00 at the Bayfront Convention Center. Tickets are $6 a person.
