Pennsylvania State Police are requesting the public's help to identify the vehicle which nearly hit a student getting on a General McLane School District bus Tuesday.

It happened around 8:47 a.m. while the bus was stopped facing westbound at 3440 Route 6N in Washington Township.

A white SUV, possible a Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross, passed the bus on the westbound shoulder at a high speed, nearly hitting a juvenile student, according to troopers.

Troopers on Wednesday released video of the vehicle in hopes of identifying the driver.

Anyone with information on the vehicle or driver involved is asked to call Cpl. Hartless with State Police in Girard at 814-774-9611.
