Tragedy struck a local family on Thanksgiving night.

At 11:50PM on Thanksgiving night, emergency services from five different agencies were dispatched to Chapman Dam Road in Clarendon, PA where a residential fire took place.

The home is now considered a total loss, displacing the family and leaving them with very little.

Thankfully, the family of four were able to evacuate the home safely, and no firefighters were injured in the incident.

The community is now rallying together to support the affected family during this difficult time.

“The Fire Department is doing a clothing and household drive," said Terry Gregerson, Clarendon Fire Department Chief. "Any donated items from the community can be dropped off at the Fire Department in Clarendon on Route 6."

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
