During his visit to Erie in September, Sinise connected with the Shawn Giles. 

Giles, a member of Fuller Hose Company in North East, died serving in the line of duty, on August 20th, 2023. 

Sinise also learned about Mary Wray.

Wray, a retired Emergycare Paramedic and Edinboro firefighter, lost her life in a house fire in late September.

Sinise sends a special message to the Wray family and the Edinboro Community.

The Sinise Foundation has received many accolades worldwide and the latest is an honorary AARP Award.

His Foundation was recognized for supporting military member and first responders.
