Erie Ale Works will be hosting its 9th annual Festivus for the Rest of Us celebration Saturday at Basement Transmissions.

The celebration is based on the season 9 Seinfeld episode titled "The Strike". 

Festivus is a made-up holiday designed to fight the rampant commercialism and stress incurred by Christmastime. 

The event will feature the Festivus pole, Feats of Strength, a Seinfeld Trivia game, the Airing of Grievances and more. 

The Que Abides Food Truck and Luminary Distilling will be offering food and drinks at the event. 

Cosmic Rhythm will be performing. 

The event will begin at 6 p.m. on Dec. 23. More information on Festivus can be found here.
