Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) on Tuesday night lifted the vehicle restrictions on Interstates 86 and 90 in Erie County.

PennDOT is reminding motorists to exercise caution while driving in inclement weather. 

Because of windy conditions and the storm, several roads remain closed as of 10 a.m. due to downed trees and power lines:

Crawford County

  • Church Road (Route 3005) – Pecan Drive in South Shenango Township to Leach Road in North Shenango Township.

Erie County

  • Route 5 – Nagle Road in Lawrence Park to the New York state line in North East Township.
  • Route 8 – Intersection of Barton Road and Bliley Road to intersection of Bennett Road and May Road in Greene Township.

Forest County

  • River Road (Route 2002) – Route 36 to Jacks Hollow Road in Barrett Township.

Mercer County

  • Wet Track Road (Route 3005) – Carpec Lane to Maple Grove Road in Shenango Township.  

Venango County

  • Two Mile Run Road (Route 4001) – Martin Hill Road to Warren Road in Sugarcreek Borough.

Warren County

  • Austin Hill Road (Route 2002) – Route 666 in Sheffield Township to Sorenson Road in Cherry Grove Township.

The closures will remain in place until the roadways are cleared. Motorists can monitor roadway conditions here.

Route 97 and Robison Road in Erie County, as well as Beatty School Road in Mercer County, have reopened.
