Four students escaped injury on a Fort LeBoeuf school bus after a van crashed into its rear-end Monday, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

It was reported just after 6 a.m. on Route 97 just west of Union LeBoeuf Rd. in LeBoeuf Township.

A 38-year-old Waterford man was driving a Toyota Sienna at a high-speed when the vehicle hit the rear-end of the bus, investigators said.

He suffered serious injuries and was taken to UPMC Hamot for treatment, according to troopers.

Four students - a 12-year-old girl and three boys, ages 12, 13 and 14 - were on board, as well as a 68-year-old driver and 63-year-old student aid at the time of the crash, according to investigators.

No one on the bus suffered any injuries, troopers said.
