State Police Identify Pregnant, Amish Woman Killed in Spartansburg Area
Pennsylvania State Police have identified the Amish woman who was killed at a home in the Spartansburg area Monday.
Troopers said they are investigating the death of Rebekah Byler, 23, as a homicide.
A family member found her dead at the residence on Fish Flats Rd. in Sparta Township, Crawford County, just before 12:30 p.m., according to state police.
Investigators said they responded and found Byler, who was pregnant, dead at the scene. They have not disclosed how she was killed.
Troopers said they have not brought anyone in for questioning as of Tuesday morning but said they are investigating all leads, according to state police.
They ask anyone who saw any suspicious people, vehicles or activity in the area to call the Corry station at 814-663-2043.
