After seeing great success at last weekend's Go Play Day at ASCEND Erie, they decided to host a second one.


Once again, teens and kids, ages fourteen and under could learn how to rock climb for free.

The Erie Sports Commission and ASCEND Climbing teamed up to make this event possible.

Over the course of two sessions, thirty kids could learn the basic skills of rock climbing and try it for themselves.

ASCEND Erie is fairly new to the downtown Erie area and organizers hope these types of events get more people interested and involved in the hobby of rock climbing.
