The 17th annual art show hosted by the Barber National Institute is returning the weekend of the eclipse.

It will run from April 5 to 7 with an additional show on April 9.

Admission and parking are free of charge.

Artists range in age from two years old to older adults, and it features a variety of art with mediums ranging from photography to acrylic to sculptures.

There are more than 400 pieces of work, which are all available for purchase.

Staff worked to install the art for the show on Thursday.

"The artwork sales are a big fundraiser," said Catherine Barczyk, event coordinator. "It's one of our main fundraisers for the year, so all of the funds raised will go to support our mission of helping students - children and adults with intellectual disabilities and autism."

Thirty percent of the sales will go towards helping the Barber National Institute achieve its mission.
