The Highmark Events Center at Gannon University is undergoing a $12 million renovation and the target date for completion is January of 2025.

The project will overhaul the look and design of the structure.

The list of updates includes, locker rooms, seating, heating cooling and electrical system.

The building has been home to Golden Knights basketball since the 1949-1950 season.

Basketball, volleyball, wrestling, acrobatics and tumbling, and competitive cheer teams call the facility home.

The primary contractors are Building Systems, Inc. and the Perry Construction Corp.

The Collaborative is the Architect behind the project.

Gannon officials are hoping to have the Center back up and running in seven months.
