The Historic Pithole City is officially open for the summer season.
The site's Visitor Center will be open to the public every Saturday and Sunday now through September 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The visitor center features an orientation film and interpretive exhibits, including a detailed diorama of the famous city. The city is the Oil Region's most notorious boomtown.
Additionally, Historic Pithole City will host its annual Wildcatter Day on Saturday, June 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event will feature various living history demonstrations throughout the day including spinning & weaving, blacksmithing, coopering, and woodcarving.
A fashion show displaying fashions from 19th century will be held in the Visitor Center at 1 p.m.
