#EveryStreet is a running challenge where a runner attempts to run all the streets in a given city. It's a challenge started by distance runner Ricky Gates. He ran every single street in his hometown San Francisco. Locally, runner Megan Demarco has taken on the challenge of running every street in Erie.

"I want to show people all the things our city had to offer that they maybe don't even know about," said Demarco.

Megan Demarco has lived in Erie for 15 years and realized there are areas of town she still hasn't seen. She has a passion for running and has made it her mission to run every single street in Erie.

"There's been a ton of things and places I've never even noticed," said Demarco. "Just a lot of community gardens, cool murals and small businesses."

Demarco works as a realtor in Erie. She tells me there's no better way to learn about the community and familiarize herself with the area she is selling.

"I think it's really cool to say I have run by every home in the entire city."

Run Every Street is a project Demarco started last year, until she broke her leg and needed surgery. Now, she has finished rehab and is determined to run every inch of the city. To follow her journey, click here.
