In conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department of Treasury, Sen. Dan Laughlin will be hosting an unclaimed property event on Thursday, June 13.

The event will be held at the Erie County Public Library from 10-2 p.m.

The event will feature Treasury Department employees who can conduct comprehensive searches for attendees.

Unclaimed property can include dormant bank accounts, abandoned stocks, uncashed checks, saving bonds and other tangible assets such as collectible coins, sports cards, jewelry, military medals and antiques.

Those interested in searching the unclaimed property database can do so online.
