A benefit has been organized for the families of three young men from the Butler area who were killed in a single-vehicle crash in Crawford County.
The trio was on the way home from a cross-country dirt bike competition when their car ran off Centerville Rd. and slammed into a tree, killing the 21-year-old driver and two teenage passengers.
Family and friends have organized a pasta dinner benefit at the Butler Moose Lodge on Jefferson St. It runs from 1 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 30.
The pasta dinner with auction baskets, a 50/50 raffle and live music will benefit the families of Levi Deal, Ronnie Parisi and Josh Boettner.
The community continues to mourn their deaths with separate funerals for all three.
