The Warren County YMCA Powerhouse Gymnastics Team will be hitting the road for the 2024 YMCA National Gymnastics Championships, June 20th through the 24th.

Fresh off of their wins at States, excitement is high and with the 2024 Olympics on the horizon, the stakes feel even higher for these aspiring athletes.

“I’m mostly excited," stated Eva, Warren County YMCA Powerhouse Gymnast. "I know the judges are going to judge hard, so I need to be prepared for that.”

“There will be a lot of people and it can be really, really stressful to be perfect all the time," stated Meredith, YMCA Powerhouse Gymnast. "There is a lot of pressure to be perfect, but you have to try to do your best.”

“We had a really good showing at states," Emily Onuffer, Head Coach Warren County YMCA Powerhouse Gymnastics said. "We had a couple of first places, and state champions. They have worked so hard.”

The dedication and hard work these athletes put in year-round is evident, and the coaches could not be prouder.

“It’s a really great feeling to see these kids put the hours into the gym," stated Kristy Turner, Head Coach Warren County YMCA Powerhouse Gymnastics. "It's not just our weekly practices, they are putting in extra hours at home, running and training. They’ve put in the work, and we are ready to see them shine.”

The 2024 YMCA National Gymnastics Championships and Invitational begins Thursday, June 20th and runs until the 24th at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA.
