The Pennsylvania Supreme Court is ready to take on the debate over the skill games you see in so many bars, restaurants, and stores.

It has agreed to decide if they're actually unlicensed gambling machines that need to be shut down.

It's an appeal of a lower court decision which found skill games' results are based on a player's ability and not solely on chance.

For years, the state has been saying they're illegal, but proponents say the games don't have to abide by state gambling laws.

The case could set skill game rules in Pennsylvania for years to come.
