Election season is rapidly approaching and that leads to the opening of campaign headquarters.

The GOP kicked off things on Saturday with the Trump Campaign opening up their office in the Republican Headquarters on Peninsula Avenue.

Local republicans alongside elected officials were present for the morning event.

Elected officials like Congressman Mike Kelly, State Senator Dan Laughlin and State Representative Jake Banta were in attendance.

Party chair, Tom Eddy discussed the importance of voting in November.

The Erie Dems headquarters are located at 13th and State Street in Downtown Erie.
