Erie's Downtown Pay-What-You-Can Farmers Market is making its way to Perry Square this Friday, July 12.

The Pay-What-You-Can Stand will be in Perry Square every Friday now until October 25. The farmers market stand will be in operation from 4-6 p.m. on Friday.

The market provides access to fresh, locally-sourced produce at little to no cost.

In a Facebook post the Erie Downtown Partnership said:

Access to fresh, healthy, and sustainably-sourced food is a vital component for any community to thrive. Getting food to our Downtown residents and increasing food access for all is our top priority for summer Farmers Markets in Downtown Erie and we are proud to partner with local growers who are making this possible throughout our community.

The stand will accept FMNP vouchers (WIC and senior vouchers), cash, and checks.
