Schaefer Mezzacapo was diagnosed with Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy at the age of 3.
Now seven years old, Schaefer has been approved for treatment at the Stem Cell Institute in Panama City, Panama.
This therapy is potentially life changing.
It also comes with great costs, approximately $17,000.
To help off-set those expenses, a benefit has been set-up for Saturday, August 24.
It will take place at the Sacred Heart Church on 816 West 26 street, from 2:00-6:00 pm.
