Sheetz and Wegmans have both made the top 10 of PEOPLE Magazine's list of 100 Companies That Care in 2024.
The annual list, now in its eighth year, highlights the top companies in the U.S. which have succeeded in business while also demonstrating outstanding respect, care and concern for their employees and their communities.
Wegmans earned the seventh spot on the list. The supermarket chain was recognized for its perishable pickup program, which donates unsold perishable food items to local food pantries and food banks throughout the week.
Sheetz ranks ninth on this year's list, the highest ranking the company has ever received on the list. The convenience store chain was selected for its store team helper program, which places individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
