Frontier Park was transformed on Sunday into the land of Livaelore, the home to the 2024 Gem City Renaissance Festival.
Vendors from all over Erie set-up stations around the park for a day of fantasy and renaissance. Different vendors included food trucks, fantasy booths, and handmade creations and crafts.
Attendees could dress up in their favorite outfits and participate in two separate costume parades throughout the day.
The day began with an opening ceremony followed by live music and entertainment.
This was the first year for the event and organizers hope to make it an annual tradition in Erie.
