New Mural Unveiled at Ascend Climbing Gym in Downtown Erie

A new mural was unveiled today in downtown Erie, with a rope cutting.

Check out what the public can now enjoy at the Ascend Climbing Gym.

Created by local artist Trista Maloney, the 15-foot-tall painting gives a nod to Erie's heritage, and climbing community.

It has a travel postcard theme. The mural is visible from State Street, and the public is encouraged to stop in to take selfies during Ascend's business hours.
