Residents in the City of Erie got a chance to help recycle and pick up their own bins with a distribution.
Holland Street was closed for a majority of the day as city officials gave out nearly 3,000 recycling bins to residents in the city of Erie.
People lined up outside the Public Works Building on Holland street to pick up their bin.
The city got these bins through grants.
Saturday's distribution day was in response to the overwhelming response the city had when they hosted this event a few weeks ago.
