Springfield Volunteer Fire Department Hosts Open House

The Federated Church in East Springfield celebrated the members of the Springfield Volunteer Fire Department with an open house and dinner on Sunday.

After the church's morning services, the volunteer fire department held an open house where community members could learn more about the services and work the fire department provides for the community.

Visitors and community members had the chance to meet members and enjoy activities.

Community members could also enjoy pizza and salad during the open house.

A chicken and biscuits dinner will be held on October 13.
