As we count down to Tuesday night’s presidential debate, Erie’s Mercyhurst University will be the focus of some national news coverage.
CNN has announced plans to broadcast live from the Mercyhurst campus throughout the day Tuesday.
The cable news channel is expected to assemble a focus group of Erie County voters who will watch the debate together and provide instant feedback with handheld devices.
CNN’s Phil Mattingly will go live from Mercyhurst afterwards with reactions from members of that local focus group.
The debate in Philadelphia is set for 8 p.m. Tuesday.
