As fall approaches, the Warren County Visitors Bureau has released Journey into Autumn: Warren County Leaf Peeping Guide, an online guide designed to help residents and visitors alike experience the best of the season.

The guide offers 11 different road trip options throughout the county, highlighting prime leaf-peeping spots in every township and borough.

“We've been working on this for a long while,” said Casey Ferry, Executive Director of the Warren County Visitors Bureau. “Fall is actually our busiest season here. A lot of people assume it's summer, but it's fall, so we are gearing ourselves up. We want people to get out and explore and experience Warren County.”

The guide not only showcases well-known locations but also highlights hidden gems across the region. Pre-planned road trip maps included in the guide were designed to make it easier for travelers to navigate and discover scenic spots throughout Warren County.

"We did our best to ensure that every township and borough are represented in the guide," Ferry added. "So, people can really learn and explore what makes every location unique. We hope that everyone can hit the different routes, find the secret places in the Allegheny National Forest, and enjoy them this season."

Ferry advises travelers to download and save the maps and road trip guides in advance, as some locations listed may have sparse internet connection.

For those eager to explore the fall colors, the guide is now available online through the Warren County Visitors Bureau website.

Physical maps of the region can also be picked up at the bureau’s location along Route 6 in Warren, PA.

Though the leaves have not yet reached their peak, the Visitors Bureau hopes the new guide will draw more people to the area, allowing them to enjoy the scenery as the season unfolds.
