As we mark 23 years since the terror attacks of 9/11, schools all across Pennsylvania are now required to hold a moment of silence Wednesday morning.
Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro signed a bill into law in June which mandates a moment of silence on the anniversary of the attacks.
The measure also requires schools in the state to teach students about the significance of Sept. 11.
When he signed it earlier this year, Gov. Shapiro stressed the importance of educating future generations about the attacks.
