The Perry Obedience Club donated a check to the Corry Police Department to help them acquire a patrol dog.

There are multiple items the department still needs before the dog arrives, but now they are one step closer to that goal.

The obedience club presented the department with a $2,700 check at the Erie Kennel Club. The money will be used to purchase a device that helps monitor and control the temperature in patrol cars, even when an officer is not in the car.

Additionally, the City of Corry has set up a GoFundMe for other K-9 necessities.
