Walkers to Take over Liberty Park for American Heart Association

Walkers will take over Liberty Park along Erie’s bayfront for the American Heart Association’s annual Heart Walk.

It all starts at 5 p.m. Thursday with the walk beginning at 6 p.m.

Erie News Now's Eva Mastromatteo will emcee the event.

The event raises funds for research and to support those with heart disease and their families.

This year’s goal is $175,000. As of Thursday morning, they’ve raised $118,000.
